# Access from the seaside

Esbjerg Havn temporarily opens **Dokhavnen** and **Trafikhavnen** for leisure boating, letting you get up close to the impressive sailing ships. Sailing is **not** permitted in Færgehavnen and Sønderhavnen.

On the occasion of The Tall Ships Races, you are allowed to sail into Dokhavnen and Trafikhavnen:

From Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at 14:00, until Friday, August 8, 2025, at 21:00.

If arriving by sea, please show extra consideration for event participants - both at the entrance and within the two harbour areas.

**Prepare for arrival by sea:**

- Stay tuned to channel 12 throughout your sailing
- Observe maritime rules
- Maintain speeds below 3 knots throughout Esbjerg Havn
- Always follow instructions from authorities, Esbjerg Havn, and any patrol vessels
